The One with my Sunday Nights...

Does everyone realize how lame Sunday nights are?
I mean ever since I was little.. it’s always like the time where everyone was happy to be around with people or just happy to have a fine dinner with your family.. plus, all the TV shows are good on Sunday nights cause this is where they show amazing documentaries or TV specials or HBO premieres.. but just about the time your all happy and smiling you realize… its Monday the next day.. and you need to go to school again.. and meet assignments and book reports the whole week.. ggrrr.. well.. I don’t have that problem now coz im done with school and volunteer work.. haha

But anyways.. last Sunday night.. the TV’s all mine so here are the amazing things I watched.. some made me cry.. one made me laugh.. though not so hard.. aonther one made me go hhhm?!.. haha.. and oh..been texting from time to time.. haha..

9-10:30 pm on HBO – Mr. Bean’s Holiday.. it was not that funny.. haha.. some TV episodes of Mr. Bean was funnier.. but still can’t help but giggle at his classic acts.. haha.. kinda felt sad when I found out that it’s the last instalment of Mr. Bean.. Atkin said that this’ll be the last.. no more tv episodes or movies.. :p.. no one can ever replace him.. I love him.. I’ll miss him..

10 – 11 pm on Velvet – building a dream: the oprah winfrey leadership academy.. haven’t seen the first part coz I was still giggling over mr. bean.. as usual.. we’re always delayed.. haha.. 6 months that is.. haha.. the academy was soo cool.. and the kids.. they’re all amazing.. and they could easily be the future of Africa.. each of their colourful lives pinched my heart a bit..they all deserve to be there.. I can’t wait for the first batch to graduate and show the world what they’ve got..and you could totally see on oprah’s face how happy and how proud she is.. I mean.. you could see the difference when she’s giving away gifts for the audience.. she’s not like genuinely happy..(uh-oh! just an observation) haha.. but when she showed the girls their new home and their new school and their outfits.. basically just showing them their new lives.. there’s a certain light and calmness on her face that shows how authentic her emotions of happiness were.. to quote the guest who attended the opening of the academy.. “there was a girl who said that she’s going to be the first female African president.. well, I believed her.. “

10:45-11:30 pm on GMA 7: pinas to eastern Europe.. im not exactly quite sure of the title.. it was a documentary presented by GMA 7..just a guy travelling around.. i'd like to say sweden?.. haha..yah.. i think it was sweden.. or Poland?.. i'm not sure.. i was channel hopping.. haha.. anyways they showed this auswhitchz place..and again.. im not quite sure of the spelling.. haha.. my history’s really bad.. haha.. sorry.. anyways it’s a place where all the anti nazzis were tortured and killed for years.. they said that when WWII ended.. almost 6 million people were killed.. at least 350 people were killed a day.. for shallow reasons such as.. stealing food.. being late for work.. urinating unscheduled.. they were only eating 4 thin loaves of bread a day.. they were all shaved and naked when they were killed.. I mean.. those people were not mere people.. some of them were architects.. scientists.. professors..et. it prolly was not their time to die yet... I should add that place to my list of places I wanna see before I die.. if u could just imagine their lives back then.. how terrible and hard it must be for them..they showed clips from schindler’s list.. you know that famous movie.. lol.. I need to watch that film.. we have a vhs tape here but I never watched it before coz I didn’t like the title.. but I have to definitely watch that.. :p

11-12 pm on National Geographic– Nat Geo’s top 30:Chasing Tornadoes.. haha.. they featured well..tornadoes.. can’t really relate coz we don’t suffer from that kind of disaster here.. but those scientist people are crazy.. I mean chasing tornadoes?.. lol.. u should see me run so fast when I hear a loud thunder.. just imagine chasing that sound.. and mind u..tornadoes aren’t just sounds.. they destroy properties and kills people too.. I mean.. I don’t really get it.. it’s a natural phenomenon.. just knowing its speed and intensity and direction is enough.. but to actually chase it just to gain more information is quite bizarre for me and prolly a thing I’ll never ever understand..
