A used-to-be expression that the Obama camp will sure not use for the remaining 57 days of the Presidential Election..
Here’s the story..
McCain once said in a speech where he compared Hilary Clinton’s healthcare plans as like a lipstick on a pig.. but the people didn’t seem to mind his statement.
And Palin also used the ‘lipstick’ minus the pig line where she said that the difference between a soccer mom and a governor is a lipstick..
And now the very intriguing one.. in his recent speech, Obama made a remark by saying that the “Republicans are always saying about ‘change’.. but that’s not really change.. its like they’re just calling the same thing differently.. you know.. when you put a lipstick on a pig.. it’s still a pig..”
With him saying that.. people are now sympathizing Palin..
And speaking of Palin.. people are so desperate to dig any dirt they can find on Palin and they found this very pathetic one.. when Palin was Mayor of her hometown.. the Librarian said that Palin asked to withdraw some books on he library with questionable content and when the Librarian refused to take them from the shelves Palin ask her to resign which she eventually did.
I mean c’mon people.. its clearly an act of desperation to destroy a great woman.
But then again, i remember watching 24 about how dirty Politics can get.. remember on season 1 where they have to pay and talk to one certain reporter that knows all the dirt to his family.
Anyways.. at the end of the day.. I still can say.. GO PALIN!

That supposed "dirt" that people are "so desperate" to uncover was actually quite legitimate in this situation. Censorship is a major issue that undermines our fundamental First Amendment rights. I don't know about you, but I'm not particularly partial to the idea of having someone who could potentially be second in command in this country (God forbid) encroaching on the Constitutional rights set by our Forefathers. Fahrenheit 451 ring a bell? Oh wait, doubt you've read it: you endorse Sarah Palin, which implies serious ignorance and naivety. But I suppose that it's to be expected as you equated the ugly side of politics with a fictional TV show.
I must question: why do you like Sarah Palin? Is it because she's cute? A woman? A soccer mom/average "Joe the plumber"? Have you actually LISTENED to her mindless blatherings? Do you actually know and understand her platform, or do you just think that it's cute when she omits the "g" from the end of words? Did you watch her Katie Couric or Charlie Gibson interviews which further affirmed her stupidity? She didn't even know what the Bush doctrine was for chrissakes! I don't know about you, but I personally would like an informed and knowledgeable person to fill one of the most powerful positions in the world.
If you immediately make the asinine assumption that I'm anti-Palin because she's a woman, then you're wrong. I'm just anti-stupid and anti-unqualified. I would have gladly voted for Hillary, but I'd never blindly cast a vote for someone so uninformed, unintelligible, and quite frankly unfit for the job.
It is not my intention to offend you. I'd merely like to encourage you to become informed (yes, actually INFORMED and KNOWLEDGEABLE about politics, the political process, and most importantly, each candidate's platform) and not just base your endorsements off of image or hype. You would do yourself and this country a favor.
