Retreat.

Just came home from a two-day spiritual retreat and I guess it is safe to say that I had been spiritually nourished. It is always nice to get away someplace else, away from the cycle that is surrounding us. The retreat place was quite perfect if you wanted to have peaceful and quiet time with the Lord. It was a church-related trip so it was always nice to get to know and meet some people. And of course to hear messages and testimonies that will crack open your heart to the realities coupled with realizations that we are one of the most blessed people in this world.

It was an Amish (American-Irish) community so it was very nice to see kids and people playing and working in their front-yard in their traditional Amish costumes (long dresses and a tiny hat for the women and suspender belts for the men with heavy and long beards on their faces.)With horse carriages in the street, even following the normal traffic flow. Their downtown was so little you could ride a carriage and tour around it in a span of 10 minutes. It was an experience that you would want to keep and lock in a special place in your heart.

That's me 13 pounds later. LOL

With bro and niece.

Happy birthday to my very beautiful sister in Scotland! Hope to see you soon!
