Taken earlier at Sr. Joyme's farewell party. Below is the letter I wrote to her. I meant it. 💜 And it's not everyday that I get to have a selfie with a nun, so I went at it.
Two years you have stayed with us. Two years! It's quite hard to imagine that it has been that long. Feels like only yesterday when you were introduced to us as our new supervisor.
You have been kind and generous to us these past two years.
You saw our flaws and never did judge us, we never said thank you for that.
Thank you for always reminding and pushing us to be at our best.
For constantly reminding us the value of time, selflessness and hardwork.
Thank you for seeing the good in us and taking that extra mile to get to know us better.
For the words you've shared with us, they were light yet haunting and daunting.
Thank you for always taking time to listen.
For all the great things along with the bad.
Thank you for all the memories.
We could only hope we made your stay worth your while.
We were a part of your journey as much as you are ours.
We will always find you faithful and true.
From your Rehabilitation Medicine family,
Thank you for everything, sister Joyme! We will miss you and may God bless you always.
P.S Cleanliness is next to Godliness, we will try to abide with that from here on out. Again, Thank you for everything.
